CLUB HISTORY
Woodbridge Golf Club was formed in 1893 and is one of the oldest clubs in England. Woodbridge is a private members golf club, but guests of members and visitors are welcome to play the course and enjoy the facilities on payment of a Green Fee. The Club has over 900 members of which 700 are playing members. It is an equal opportunity club with both men and women having full equity rights on the course and within the clubs constitution.

Woodbridge is a traditional members club with a modern outlook, an outstanding reputation for the quality of two wonderful golf courses and a welcoming atmosphere. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty on Suffolk’s coastal heathland with the driest climate in England allows almost uninterrupted golf all year round. The club offers a variety of membership packages to suit golfers of all ages and experience, including beginners to this fascinating sport. We are welcoming applications for new members for 2008 now including the rare opportunity to join without paying a joining fee. Do come along to see what we have to offer.
It is situated on high ground and in different seasons present golfers with a great variety of colour. Large practice ground. Also a 9 hole course, 6382 yds, S.S.S 70.
