The course was designed in 1922 by Dr.Alastair Mackenzie,and has
much to offer golfers of all standards. Nestling behind the sand dunes,
the first five holes stretch along the beach to the farthest point of the
course, before the sixth turns and heads back towards the club house.
After the tenth hole, the course turns again, but the hole on the second
part of the course are slightly different in character, being less
dominated by the beach.
