GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

Played 11/03/10, last played here before Xmas, both agreed that course is in excellent condition, the greens are almost perfect. Considering the recent weather it is a real achievement for the green keepers, well done and thanks.

Played 18 holes on 26th august 2003. When we arrived the restaurant was being refurbished so no bacon sarny ! With our 2 fore 1 voucher the round only cost 8. The course was very dry with deep tractor ridges running across some fairways which twice I nearly twisted an ankle in so look where you tread, also the greens were long and uneven with a lot of unrepaired pitchmarks. No great holes to speak of and the 18th green was swamped in Canada Geese dung along with 13 or so geese, so don't go licking your ball as you walk off the 18th!! Altogether not a bad pay-and-play course that just needs a bit of a tidy now and there but cheap as chips with a 2 fore 1.

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a scenic undulating parkland course with many ditches, ponds and lakes. 18 holes, 6169 yards. S.S.S. 70.
