GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

12/09/2002 - Sent by Liam
The first two holes are quite easy scoring holes. Soon as you hit the third it becomes much tougher as the sea-breeze plays a major part in the ball flight.

Holes 3,4 and 5 require straight hitting to at least hit the fairway. Low-hitting players are definitely at an advantage at this course, reducing the chance of the wind catching the ball in flight.

The greens are a variety. The first two greens are relatively flat and putting is not too much of a problem, The 3rd demands accuracy and good ball control to first get it up the ridge and then avoid hitting the ball over the back towards the cliff edge, leaving a very tough lofted blind pitch/chip shot.

The hardest green on the course and in my opinion the hardest hole on the course is the par-3 8th. About a 7-8 iron tee shot up to a steep ridge style green.

Players are lucky to hit the green and stay on to leave a possible birdie putt. The green is circular and very small. Even Tiger Woods would struggle!

Above all, a moderate priced golf adventure which guarantees player's of all abilities a challenge.

A good flat course to walk around. Very cold in winter with the icy sea breeze-so wrap up warm and avoid the rough!!
