Opened May 1987. Built on the site of the former High Handenhold colliery.

Golf lessons, golf quipment, golf courses
A Municipal golf course which measures 6023 yards off the medal tees, ( par 71 ) and 5628 yards off the yellows (par 70 ). A challenging layout offering a good variety of holes. The routing of the course has been altered slightly to make the course more user friendly. Some new tees are under construction which will take the medal yardage to almost 6200 yards. A good test of golf.
