CLUB HISTORY

Founded In 1947 the valley course was designed by Harry Colt 3 years after he resigned the dunluce links. Fred daly the only irishman to win the britsh open golf chamionships in 1947 a native of portrush was captain of Ratmore golf club for 2 years an the 50s, today his golf clubs are presented in a cabnet in the main foyer of Rathmore golf club kindly donated to the club by his family.
