Friendly club. First impressions do count and the club house was welcoming. Staff and other members were very friendly indeed.

This is a course where you need to be accurate rather than long. Played it twice while on the island and really enjoyed it. You'll learn more the second time round. Going for it here will jsut get you in trouble all the time.

First is a dog leg right with water and out of bounds on the right. Well placed drive needed to get a clean shot to green. No need for a driver here.

Second is a dog leg left with out of bounds both sides. Accurate drive needed again , though if you can shape a draw a risky shot may get you nearer.

Third is a short and dangerous par 3, water left and a bunker on the right.

Fourth, my favourite . Down a valley the green is over some trees to the left. Not knowing any better I hit straight at it, opening up for the first time so far. You can get very near the hole off the tee but it's a risky shot.

Fifth. Probably the best par 4 I've ever had the frustration to play. 402 yards, OOB tight left, fairway slopes right to left. A tough hole and one that'll get me coming back over and over until I par it. You'll be swearing at yourself here.

Six is a carry all the way to a very elevated par 3. Accuracy not helped by the fact that any wind is howling through here.

Seventh, long par 5 OOB tight left (initially) and right in drive range. Drive well and a fair second shot gets you close. Not a hard hole but needs a good tee and second shot to get a chance here.

Eighth. Long par 3 but pretty straight forward but do not go through that green or you're in a whole world of trouble.

Nine. Accurate drive onto a blind fairway. Good drive gives you a decent chance here but there's trouble right (OOB) and left.

Really enjoyed this course.
