Founded In 1977 by Lord & Lady Moyola, The Golf Club is set in 130 acres of mature parkland of the Shanemullagh estate, the Georgian home of Admiral Lord Graves who fought in the Napoleonic wars.<BR>
The Club had an official opening with a match featuring Christy O`Connor Snr on 9 September 1977. In 1980 the course was played by Severiano Ballesteros. Seve also gave a coaching and exhibition session.
