CLUB HISTORY
Founded In 1895, the club has occupied its present site since 1962. Since then it has hosted the Irish Amateur Close Championship, the Senior Inter - Provincial Championship, the Senior British Ladies Amateur Open Championship, the Irish Youths Championship and the Irish Senior Masters Tournament. Tony Jacklin won his first senior professional tournament here in 1966.

Directions to Malone Golf Club (from M1 Motorway)
Leave the M1 Motorway at Junction 2 and follow the signs to A55 Outer Ring, Newcastle and Bangor.
Go straight through 3 sets of traffic lights: this brings you onto Balmoral Avenue. Turn right at the traffic lights at the end of Balmoral Avenue, onto the Malone Road (signs to A55 Outer Ring, Newcastle and Bangor). Stay in the outer lane of traffic.
At the Upper Malone roundabout, take the second exit onto the Upper Malone Road (signs B103 to Finaghy, Dunmurry and Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon Park).
Continue on the Upper Malone Road for 2 miles: the entrance to Malone Golf Club is on your left at the end of a long stone wall, opposite Lady Dixon Park.
If the security gates are closed press the intercom button and wait for the gates to open.
