Played this course today and found it to be in very good condition after the recent snow. Greens were true and quite fast. New clubhouse opened recently although we could not get a meal on the day we visited only snacks, reason not given. I had not booked but reception staff were very helpful
I played this course a couple of years ago and it is now operated by a different company who have invested quite a bit in the course.
It is in my opinion a good test of golf with some brilliant views and excellent value for money. I recommend playing after 11.00 a.m. weekdays cost is only 15.00.

Me again, and another review, this time Little Hay, nothing too bad to say about this course other than they don't let two balls play at the weekend so you end up getting paired up with other two balls. That aside the course plays well for another council run course. The parking is ample, the holes generally in very good order and it's well spread out. There are some exciting holes, though one theme that is consistent especially on the front nine is the baron lies you sometimes find on the fairways and around the greens. Some good little tests on the course though including a downhill par 3 you have to judge to perfection and a dog leg that suits a fade for a right hander. I'm lefty and we all know how hard it is to draw the ball. Good fun course though for the money. Golf range and decent bar/cafe on site well worth the green fee.

Considered to be one of the best places to play golf in Hertfordshire, Little Hay Golf Complex is a pay and play golf course that has a host of facilities for golfers of all abilities to take advantage of.

Located in the beautiful surroundings of the Hertfordshire countryside, the parkland style golf course is set in the rolling Chiltern Hills and is close to the village of Bovingdon and Hemel Hempstead. One of the finest affordable pay and play golf course in the south-east.

Little Hay has grown over the years, and now as well as a superb 18-hole golf course, theres a 25 bay driving range, a six-hole short golf course pitch and putt, a putting green and a practice bunker - all designed to help you with your game.

Coupled with these features Little Hay has a fantastic restaurant on site as part of the new Par3 suite, which is available for weddings and private parties.

Everyone is welcome at Little Hay Golf Complex. Make Little Hay your home of Golf in Hertfordshire.
