Letham Grange Old Golf Course designed by Donald Steel and opened by the esteemed figure of Sir Henry Cotton in 1987.

Teeing off in front of the Mansion House, the course quickly incorporates narrow tree lined holes and open, rolling, and undulating fairways.

A constant, yet never exaggerated feature is the intelligent use of water that influences 13 of the 18 holes. The 8th, and 10th, holes are truly memorable – the par 3, 8th, is played over a picturesque loch, onto a green surrounded by mature trees and rhododendrons. Possibly the most spectacular hole on the course is the 10th, again over water for the second shot. This hole offers a challenge to the most experienced golfers.

World-renowned golf course photographer, Brian Morgan is an unashamed enthusiast. There are several holes at Letham Grange which would not be out of place at Augusta National. Praise indeed!
Welcome to Letham Grange Glens Golf Course. Opened in 1991 the Glens Course is full of Scottish character and provides quality golf in delightful surroundings.

Whereas the Old Course is magnificent and challenges even the best golfers, the Glens Course, whilst no walk-over, offers a more relaxing round, with just a little sting in the tail to help keep you focused.

Thoughtfully landscaped and with views of the Angus Glens in the distance the course is a joy to play. The first 14 holes are fairly straightforward with the closing stretch being a little more demanding by taking you through some wonderful woodland with narrow tree lined fairways.

For those of you who are familier with the Old Course, youll be pleased that the Glens Golf Course is without water hazards!

As part of a £300,000 refurbishment improvements have been made to the golf courses at Letham Grange.

During the Winter changes to the land drainage system will help avert the need to close the course during periods of inclement weather. These improvements are part of a drive to provide golfers with a venue where play can continue during all but the most severe weather conditions.

Letham Grange Hotel is currently closed, however both golf courses are being operated by the golf club and a variety of excellent accommodation is available locally.
