CLUB HISTORY

Ladybank was established in 1879. The architect of the original
6-hole course was Old Tom Morris. A circular 9-hole course was formed in
1910 with a further 9 holes added in 1961. The year 1978 was a landmark
for Ladybank with nomination as an Open Qualifying venue. Since then a
number of prestigious tournaments have been held including:
1998 Scottish Open Seniors and
British Boys Championships
2001 British Ladies Open Amateur Championship
