CLUB HISTORY
Occupying in excess of 110 acres of magnificent parkland, killeen situated nearKill, just off the N7. The Club is ideally located within the greater Dublin / Kildare catchment area, with easy access from the M50.
First laid out in 1980, Killeen has undergone continuous development and improvement. In 1994 the purchase of additional land and the redesign by Tom Craddock and Pat Ruddy (ofDruids Glen Fame) was a significant milestone for the golf Course. Since the purchase by the owner in 1998 - the course has again been redesigned and brought up to Championship standrad by Maurice Kelly.
The Course features state-of-the-art drainage and irrigation on all greens and tee boxes, and the greens themselves have been sown with Providence creeping bent grass, ensuring year-round playability. The feedback from all who have played the New Course has been outstanding.
A par 72, 6800-yard course up to full USGA specification, Killeen is now one of the countrys foremost golfing facilities, with a club house featuring a golf shop and newly refurbished bar and restaurant offering food and service to the highest standard.

Killeen is situated near Kill,just off the N7. To get to the golf course from the M50 moterway, take the N7 turn off at the Red Cow roundabout. Follow the Naas road past Rathcoole and take the right turn at Kill junction traffic lights. You then continue over the Straffan road for approximately 1/2 mile and take the first left turn (sign posted for Killeen). Continue on this road for a further 1/2 mile and the entrance to the Killeen Golf Club is on the left hand side.
