The 18 hole 6,022 yard (par 71) course is situated in an highly accessible location approximately 1/4 mile north of junction 2 M180, between Scunthorpe and Doncaster.<P>
The course is arranged in 2 loops of 9 holes starting and finishing close to the club house and comprises three par 3s, thirteen par 4s and two par 5s. Three starting points are available on the course - the 1st, 10th and 14th tees.

Hirst priory offers golfers a good range of practice facilities, including a large practise ground located close to the car park, a nine hole irrigated practise putting green positioned between the
1st tee and the clubhouse.<p>
The course takes advantage of a tranquil setting and many holes featureparkland trees or are bordered by mature woodland shelter, which is further enhanced by lakes which come into play on the 6 holes.
