CLUB HISTORY

Founded In 1928, initally a 9 hole course, the members extended to 18 hole in 1958/9.

A great sense of pride and achievement when the very progressive membership finally secured the purchase of the original18 hole course in1983.

But they didnt stop there and the course was complimented by the building of a new clubhouse in 1993.

In 1997 additional land, 240 acres of parkland and river, adjoining the existing course was purchased and a second 18 hole course (7000+ yards), designed by Christy OConnor Jnr., was built - which opened in 2000.

A modern, progressive and welcoming club invites you to come and sample our two great courses - its a snip at half the price!!!
