The course was designed by Ben Sayers and James Braid in 1906 although golf has been played on the East Links since the 17th century. The course has some of the most scenic views in Scotland and the signature hole, the 13th, The Sea Hole, is featured in many books and is considered one of the best par threes in the country. The course is playable all year round and is a very very fair test of your golf. There is a new clubhouse and the course is in wonderful condition at all times of the year.
