I disagree, for 35 I thinks its good value for the average private club. I can't think of any private clubs that you'll pay much less at. What makes it good in my opinion is that its nice and quiet, no struggling to get a tee time.

As for the course, Canterbury is the only inland course, in kent, thats around the same price that is better. Exellent greens, very good fairways, good layout and even though it is dificult it isnt a score killer.

have played this course a few times, a bit expensive at 30.00 but what you do get is the first hole which would grace any course in the world. the course is a fair test of golf. when you get to the 14 you have to cross a road this for me is the nicest part of the course. the 16 a short par 3 is a really good hole, played from an elevated tee. a fairly new clubhouse stands alongside the 14th. all in all a nice place to play golf

18 holes, 6030 yards. S.S.S. 69. Founded in 1902. A beautiful inland course laid out over part of a large estate with pheasants walking the fairways quite tamely. Play follows two heavily wooded valleys but the trees affect only the loose shots going out of bounds. Fine views.

M2 Faversham Exit (A251) to A2 junction, left to Brogdale Road, left to Belmont.
