Just played on this course and i have to admit it is quite a good course. After playing at Trent Park the other day i can say there is not much difference. It is more flatter then most courses, but still challenging never the less. It has some tricky holes and even an almighty one at nearly 600 Yards!

The golf course is located next to fairlop station (Central Line), it has a lovely bar and restaurant overlooking a lake. The staff are friendly, tee price's are reasonable, it has a driving range and during the day a snack cart goes around the course selling refreshments.

great value golf course, better played in the summertime. Greens were very nice quite a long par 3 and a few challenging holes enjoyed it very much will definately go again.

Without sounding dramatic, this course is a godsend ! I don't drive but live near a central line station and this course is a 5 minute walk from Fairlop station so it's ideal for those without a car.

The course has a more links feel to it than parkland, and although it's not long, is a good test on a calm day. However, if the wind gets up it's becomes quite a demanding course that will really test your game.
The greens are decent but could do with a trim! but i've been to the range this evening and had a chat with the pro (nice fella) he said that they are doing some work on the greens at the moment and within a month they will be good standard.

If you live on the central line (or not) and your after a course that is a decent test and easy to get to then you wont go wrong here.

all improved facilities and golf course conditions, good membership being built, freindly atmosphere and many club competitions each month. Greenkeepeers are now attending college and the conditions are testament to their hard work and commitment to the inprovements made at the complex. Best value golf around and no 6 hour rounds like Hainault !!

much improved golf course, difficult when the wind blows and plays like an inland links course during the summer months, cheapest golf in the area and no big queues to get on !!

Very Very poor condition, most of the greens are in a bad way, it's like the place hasn't seen rain for years. Unless completely desperate for a round, give it a wide birth, there are loads of courses close by that I'm sure could not be in such a bad condition.

Covered, floodlit range, 36 bays. 18 hole golf course, 9 hole Par 3 course. Individual or group tuition available.

Two miles north of Ilford, half a mile from A12, one and a half miles from southern end of M11.
