Let me just say that we are a party of 12 golfers of varying abilities who have their winter outing at Drumoig in March every year. This weekend (20/3/9) we are back for our 3rd year. The course is always in fantastic condition for the time of year and is a challenge for all abilities. As for the cost we have always been given great deals for 2 days golf and accomadation. We would have no hesitation in recommending Drumoig, and the bar staff in the hotel itself are fantastic, they even joined in with our casino night that we had. Keep up the good work Drumoig we will keep coming back.

I don't understand the previous comment. Myself and some friends decided to take up the great winter offers and go for a game. Not knowing what to expect we found the course to be in great condition for the time of year. The course layout was very testing but very fair, particularly the water holes in and around the turn. I would recommend to anybody looking for cheap golf deals to give the course a go.
I myself will definately be returning for a game as will my playing partners, who enjoyed the setup too.
I believe the botched SGU headquarters were based here but this has no bearing on the fantastic course and facilites available.

What a dump!! You would expect a decent course on the doorstep of the SGU and SNGC but what a let down. To add insult to injury the welcome in the, so called, Golf Hotel was appalling; staff were totally clueless about golf or golfers needs, it was also over priced and poor quality. Typical of the modern ‘pay ‘n’ play courses that take your money and run with it!!

A developing but challenging young championship course. Set in a parkland environment, the course is links like in places. Features include Whinstone Quarries and views over to St Andrews and Carnoustie. Water features are demanding, especially on the 9th where the fairway run between Drumoig, two mini lochs.also 10th and 11th water holes
