"A truely challenging course" as described by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.
Established in 1910, the course is set in beautiful ancient parkland. The old Club House is a 400 year old cottage situated by the first tee with the new Club House only 100 yards away. The new Club House was completed in April 2007 and boasts facilities to accommodate weddings, societies and functions. Changing rooms with showers. a snug bar and 140 seat function room have all been provided in the new Club House making it one of the best appointed 9 hole courses in the North of Wales.
The present course is part of the old hunting grounds of the Hengwrt Estate, once hunted by Sele and Owain Glyndwr. Coupled with views of Cader Idris and the Mawddach Estuary, it is "probably the most beautiful course in the world". With some of the oldest trees in Wales and its panoramic views Dolgellau Golf Club is a must for anyone who really enjoys golf.

Dolgellau Golf Club is situated on the edge of Dolgellau town and lies at the base of Cader Idris mountain, along with stunning views down the Mawddach Estuary.
This friendly Welsh Golf Club boasts a superb nine hole upland course with alternating tees and a welcome to anyone who takes the time to find us.
