This is a deceptive course for the first timer. Doesn't seem long or that challenging but there is a lot water and rough and is an excellent challenge for anyone. If your handicap is <10 I'd recommend playing the white tees but for everyone else the course is set-up fine. All the par 5's are difficult. A par on any of these is really a bonus. The key to playing this course well are the par 3's. Careless or poor concentration will soon wreck your scorecard. The 5th, 14th and 16th being the key ones. The 14th in particular has water all around and depending on conditions can be anyting from an 8-SW. The other advantage is you can get round quickly. A 2 ball can do it in less than 3hrs and even 4 balls can do it in 3.5hrs. The club is extremely friendly, all the staff are helpful and everything is easy to find from parking, driving range, practice green, bar, changing rooms all within a stones throw of each other. In terms of a favourite hole, I'd say the 6th, should be stroke index one, but with a two tier narrow green, water on the right, bunkers in the front, and tress and rough on the left, any shot from 150+ yds demands absolute accuracy. For most people a par here will be the start of their round.

Privately owned pay and play golf centre catering for all ages and levels of ability. The challenging 18 hole course has water on 17 of the holes. Facilities include a 13-bay driving range and a gym. 2 fully qualified golf professionals offer tuition 7 days a week, tuition available to all golfers!
