CLUB HISTORY

Bawburgh Golf Club started in 1976 as a Driving Range and was then called The Norwich Golf Centre. In 1979 a 9 hole course was opened with a par 33. In 1985 the name of the club was changed to Bawburgh Golf Club. In 1992 the course was extended to an 18 hole par 70 course, intergrating the new holes with the old making the course a very different challenge to many other courses. In 1994 a new clubhouse was opened making Bawburgh one of the finest clubs in Norfolk.

From the A47 follow the signs to Costessey Park and Ride and the Royal Norfolk Showground. Go past the Costessey Park and Ride and carry on for half a mile were on the right hand side you will see a sign "Glen Lodge" turn right into the driveway up to the Clubhouse were you will find ample parking. From the Watton Road coming from the west turn left in barford and foolow the road through Marlingford and you will find Glen Lodge on your left.
