GETTING TO ST. ANDREWS
St Andrews is in the Kingdom of Fife on Scotlands east coast. There are three major international airports that guests fly into:
Edinburgh (Approximatley 83.5 km / 52 miles)
Glasgow (Approximatley 118.9 km / 73.9 miles)
Aberdeen (Approximatley 135 km / 84 miles)
Transfer to Fairmont St Andrews is approximately 1 hour from Edinburgh or 2 hours and 15 minutes from Glasgow. It is possible to take the scenic route from Edinburgh Airport to St Andrews, driving through picturesque and charming fishing villages, but this adds approximately 30 minutes to the journey.
At St Andrews at the 1st roundabout take 2nd exit for town centre.
At next roundabout take 1st exit onto North Street.
Continue along North Street to Cathedral and follow the road round to the right.
At mini roundabout take 1st exit A917 for Crail
St Andrews Bay is approximately 2.0 miles on the left.

Train information
St Andrews is not on the train line. The nearest station is Leuchars on main line from London, Edinburgh and Aberdeen (20-minutes away from Fairmont St. Andrews). St Andrews may be reached by car, taxi or by bus from Leuchars. More information available from the concierge.
